The mission of the North American Alpaca Federation is Marketing and Education.  Neither the organization nor the officers of the Board have any institutional involvement in the upcoming election for the AOBA Board of Directors.  Members of NAAF may be involved in the election in various individual and personal ways, but the NAAF organization is totally removed from the election procedures or advocacy for any candidate. While NAAF does encourage active involvement  in our alpaca breeders’ association in every capacity, including exercising their right to vote, AOBA board elections are outside of the scope of NAAF’s charter as a not for profit sales and marketing and educational association of alpaca breeders.
